In July 2006 SpinnaWeb was asked to create a shopping cart and add it to the existing website of The 12 Volt Shop. The 12 Volt Shop is an Australian Industry Leader in the supply of low voltage equipment.

The 12 Volt Shop requested that SpinnaWeb build a custom shopping cart for their website. The shopping cart had quite specific requirements. It needed to read prices and product information from within a remote MYOB Database and allow people to purchase from within The 12 Volt Shop’s existing HTML based website. The shopping cart then needed to integrate into The 12 Volt Shop’s existing business processes in regards to order tracking and order fufilment.

The 12 Volt Shop shopping cart, originally created in July 2006, continues to be used by The 12 Volt Shop.

Note: SpinnaWeb was only involved with the shopping cart functionality of The 12 Volt Shop website. The design of the website and the website content were not created by SpinnaWeb.
